JOHN BIGGS 40 YEARS STILL GOING 1967/2007

This is my blog about Sir Bobby Charlton sending my dad a signed pic saying well done for 40 years of Youth Work. I was sat at home thinking what we could do for the Club's 40th Anniversary Celebrations, i thought there was very old picture of Sir Bobby and my dad back in 1966 when Bobby used to go Collecting for the Boy's Club's on that night they started from the vasa Club on damhead. I thought it would be nice to ask Bobby for him to send my dad something after writing to Bobby and telling him the great Voluntry Youth Work that he's done over 40 years i was totally shocked when i got reply it was fantastic to get card from Bobby with his best wishes from him and we presented my dad with it at the Charlestown Pub, were it was jam packed with old members and staff it was great night 1967/2007 id like to say big thank you to Sir Bobby Charlton to take the time to send this to my dad what a legend you are blog by Johnny Biggs..

WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB...2010

This is my blog on a slide show of the art work at the Whitemoss Youth Club done by out good freind phil who has done great work for our club. 100 years still going

This is short blog about 100 years Centenary of the Boys Club Fedaration 100 years and still going its down to the Volunteers over the years who have made it possible for the Youth Club to stay open. blog by Johnny Biggs

Another Saturday mornings event that the Junior club members from Whitemoss Club For Young People/Community Centre working together with Saul from Boggart Hole Clough and the Northwards Wardens 10am to 1pm, litter picking around the lake area , 8 bags of rubbish collected . Well Done Everybody

Late 2009,one cold Saturday morning Staff from Boggart Hole Clough,Peter Milner and his volunteers joined forces with the Charlestown Councillors,John Biggs and a few junior club members from the Whitemoss Youth Club and other local people came together in planting the last of the Avenue of Oak Trees along the main footpath into the Clough. Well done everybody in taking part in what will prove to be a Bggart Hole Clough historical feature in years to come.

GIRLS TRIP TO THE BADMINTON.....

this is my blog on the English National Badminton Championships Velodrome,Manchester, we got 8 tickets to go and see the professional badminton players play plus Nathon Roberson Englands number 1 we took 5 girls down there that have been doing Badminton with our badminton coach adam from Manchester Leisure its great the girls are so in to it normally its just the boys doing football in the gym we have got adam for 10 weeks hopefully we can get this extended cause its great the girls are getting to do things in the gym to keep them fit. The girls who went loved it at the Velodrome they went getting everyone autograph even if they wasn't famous it was so funny watching them the badminton was great the girls loved it blog by JOHNNY BIGGS..
