ALLOTMENTS WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB

This is  progress of our allotments that we have got Funding. £3,010  from Northwards Housing(Part of the Your Green Corner Application) in Partnership with The Big Dig)  We'll be getting 36 railway sleepers to make up 3 raised beds suitable also for wheelchair users, to grow their own fruit and veg. There will be a garden shed to store tools and other garden stuff. There will be other sleeper beds laid, so that other user groups can grow their own fruit and veg. There will be couple of table and benches so anyone can sit down and chill. We are hoping to raise a little more funding to have a high fence erected, so the allotment is more self contained and has its' own secure area to eliminate vandalism.A Big Thank You to Northwards Housing for there support. In the pictures you can see Probation Service (Unpaid Workers) are building the sleepers for this project. The project is a joint venture between the Youth Club and The Chatterbox Project. The Probation Service are doing a fantastic job, Big Thanks to them All.
