with the support of Zest and Age Friendly Manchester we are having film club for the over 50's our film on this month was Life of Pie so next months Film will be Rush so spread the word the more the merrier .

John Biggs British Empire Medal 2014 for Voluntary Service .

Great News came through on New Years Day when the Hounours list was Published and John Biggs the Centre Manager has been involved with Whitemoss Youth Club for 57 Years now as a Boy of 10 Year old Member .he has done Great thing s for the Chalestown Area .John was named as Mancunian of the year in 2002 and the Club got Awarded the Queens Award in 2008 for Voluntary Service to the Community which was a great Achievement but for John to get this Award from the Queen the British Empire Medal is just Amazing big thanks to Everyone who has helped John over the Year to make this Possible .Always a Fight for Money and Getting Volunteers to keep the Place running but without John the Club would of gone many Years Ago .
