In this weeks Middleton Guardian news Paper the kids at our youth club made there own banner Calling on Manchester City Council not to cut the Youth Fund this was the kids way of saying don't forget the Youth of Manchester when deciding on the Cuts Because once these Community Clubs are gone that's it you wont get them back we have been here for over 50 years and before we had this club Whitemoss Youth club was North Manchester Boys Club which was at st Marks Church site which was called the old tin hut so really hope this Genaration are not forgot.

POLICEMAN'S BALL DEC/2014

Big Tanks to the Policeman's Ball were the police invite over 60's who feel isolated in there Communities with a dinner for them so we took Charlestown Tenants who all had a great time thanks to  G.M.P for putting on a great show .2014 dDecember







LUNCHEON CLUB CHRISTMAS DINNER 2014 AT THE CHARLESTOWN PUB

This was our luncheon Club dinner at the Charlestown Pub 30 over 50's from our regular Luncheon club turned up and all had a great Dinner wed like to thank Carl at the Pub and his staff who made a Fantastic 4 Course meal and also we had a Raffle and few games of Bingo and to all our Volunteers who helped out again been fantastic Merry Christmas to all 








KEY 103 TOYS DONATION 2014

Key 103 donation a big thanks to them again they have been great to our club over the last 2 years we gave our kids the toys on our Christmas Party at the juniors were 50 kids turned up it was a great night . a big thanks to all our volunteers on the night did a great job .

CINDERELLA PANTO 2014

This was our 5th annual panto sold over 150 Tickets for this Community event we try to keep the price down so to make it a real community event were it is accessible for everyone. Big thanks to the P.C.S.O's who ran the Tombola Chris and lee they both did a great job .Thanks to G.M.P and Charlestown TARA. who both donated £550.00 between them towards the staging of the Panto and also the big Buffet we had . Would also like to say a big Thanks to all our Volunteers on the night without there help we could not put this event on each year so like to say well done to Chaplin's who staged our Cinderella Panto .one last thanks to the Charlestown Community again done yourselves Proud.

AGE FRIENDLY SESSIONS FOR OVER 50'S

Our Luncheon Club is going great we had Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas /Garden Peas and for afters there was Strawberry Gatto /Chocolate Gatto everyone had a great time and then they had few games of Bingo its great to see all getting on and enjoying them selves we are starting a movie afternoon on wWednesday's we will be doing a poster soon with dates it will be once a month that we will be doing .

Halloween Party for the junior club 2014 it was a great night all the kids dressed up for a fancy dress party also we had games too and to finish off with a buffett with hot dogs too big thanks to the young volunteers for there help and the staff who helped out .

After School Clubs Halloween Party 2014

Halloween Party 2014 held on tuesday 28th 3.30pm till 5.30pm 6to11 years old every week  all kids dressed up had games as well was a great afternoon had a buffett and hot dogs went down great well done to all who helped set up before and after  .

CHALLENGE PROJECT.MAKING A NICE ROCKERY

Thanks to everybody for All your efforts on Saturday 13th.September until 3.30pm. 10  young Volunteers including 2 supervisors from the Challenge Project, Johnny and his 3 year old Son, Quinn, Claire and Ting Tong (Louise Dale) 2 off the Clubs' Young People volunteers working around the Garden , Planting, cutting overgrown bushes and designing a new rockery area within the Clubs' Sensory garden. Thanks to Graeme who was around doing the Clubs' Pat electrical testing on the same day. Thanks to everybody for the Challenge Day. from the staff at Whitemoss and John Biggs (Centre Manager).

SUMMER PLAY SCHEME 2014

In the Middleton Guardian this week about our Successful Play Scheme with over 50 kids in everyday giving the kids from 6 to 12 years with lots to do. The club is working with Grumpy to run our play scheme we would like to say a big thanks to them for there support.Plus a big thanks to F.C united for sending there football coaches everyday this was a great help our kids loved it we would also like to thank all our staff and volunteers for all there help in making this our best ever Play Scheme yet.
