24 Volunteers Painting the Club co/operative/Accountants in Manchester /

Big Thanks to 24 Volunteers from The Co-Operative/ Accountants in Manchester/who came up for the day to paint our Youth Club to give it a Brighter look so when the kids/Youths/Community come back they well get nice Surprise. They painted  the Boys/Girls Toilet's and Corridor to the Toilet's the main room /with a lovely tree painted onto the wall plus they painted our new Coffee Bar Lounge in a nice Chocolate Colour plus a nice tree near our T/V .

This is Whitemoss Youth Club and Community Centre's 4th Annual Christmas Panto. This years Panto was Aldin which Chaplin s put on for us and did a superb job for the 4th time so a Big Thanks to them and to Northwards Housing and Manchester City Council who Funded this so Happy Christmas to you all  

 

Santa's Grotto Thanks to Ground Work .2013

This was our Christmas Grotto that we had were got funding we got from Ground Work which John Biggs put in funding for which was for 2,000 pound so we ordered a Christmas Grotto and a Shanta's Grotto so we got him to give all the Presents to the many kids which my son was one of them we also did a buffet with molt wine to have after meeting Santa. so many kids came and had a great time so we'd like to say a Big Thanks to Ground Work who Funded this 

SALE SHARKS RUGBY Coaching Evening Session 11th December 2013

This is an invite fro a free session at Whitemoss Youth Club,that Sale Sharks are doing a Coaching Session as a one off session for anyone who loves Rugby .Age from 11/19 years old come along .

This is my Blog on our Local Panto to be held at Whitemoss Youth Club at 6.30pm to 9.30pm also we are doing a free Santas Grotto at the Youth Club come along and enjoy bring your kids

V.O.P VALUING OLDER PEOPLE TASTER SESSION 2013

It's been a great day today at the Youth Club were V.O.P Valuing older People Taster Session were they had loads of information stalls to help with the cold Winter coming up,and loads others giving Vital info to help the over 50's in the Charlestown area also we had Hotpot/Cheese and Onion Pie/quiche/ and then had games of Bingo and the Raffle all had great day we will be carrying on V.O.P sessions on Friday 10am till 12pm for the over 50's were you can do Table tennis Pool Snooker Pamper Sessions Badminton Sessions plus you can get food and drink at our Brand New Coffee Viewing Lounge its Great to have something for the over 50's in many Community across the Country when you get to a certain age you get forgot about so this is great to give people something to do each week .

BLOOM 2013 OUTSTANDING GARDENING AWARD

 With a great view from the place we went to revived our Bloom gardening Award for Whitemoss Youth Club we got Out standing Garden Award this year 2013 its been a lot of hard work with getting our new Allotment's that we been hard getting ready with the help of Chatterbox and Donna. Who has been great help also Probation Services who made all the Sleepers for the plants and veg we grow. Plus our local Volunteers Through the year our garden has come a long way from 2005, when it was all grass. Looking at next year well be putting a roof on our Sensory garden with water butts collecting all the rain water so hears to another good year.My dad John Biggs got a 50 years Awards for his Voluntary Service he went and got this award the day after we went to get the Youth Club's wish id been there for his Award but it was a surprise but still it was great Achievement Well Done from the whole of the Staff/Residents of Charlestown . 

 The Youth Panel Youths have helped organise our Halloween Party Working with G.M.Y.N who Funded it and working with the Youth Panel in giving kids a great night well done to everyone who Helped

OVER 50 YEARS OF VOLUNTRY SERVIES AT WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB AND COMMUNITY CENTRE

John Biggs 50 Years Award given 2 Awards one from the Boys and Girls Federation We went to awards night at Gorton Monastery were he picked up his 50 years Voluntary Services Award and then in south port last Wednesday got a Special Award from the R.H.S BLOOM for 50 years volunteering plus how we have Developed our Sensory Garden since it was just waste ground to now its great place to relax and with our new allotment we had done its great place for kids to grow and give to people in need in our local area like the old peoples home next door to us
