100 years still going

Another Saturday mornings event that the Junior club members from Whitemoss Club For Young People/Community Centre working together with Saul from Boggart Hole Clough and the Northwards Wardens 10am to 1pm, litter picking around the lake area , 8 bags of rubbish collected . Well Done Everybody




Late 2009,one cold Saturday morning Staff from Boggart Hole Clough,Peter Milner and his volunteers joined forces with the Charlestown Councillors,John Biggs and a few junior club members from the Whitemoss Youth Club and other local people came together in planting the last of the Avenue of Oak Trees along the main footpath into the Clough. Well done everybody in taking part in what will prove to be a Bggart Hole Clough historical feature in years to come.

GIRLS TRIP TO THE BADMINTON.....


this is my blog on the English National Badminton Championships Velodrome,Manchester, we got 8 tickets to go and see the professional badminton players play plus Nathon Roberson Englands number 1 we took 5 girls down there that have been doing Badminton with our badminton coach adam from Manchester Leisure its great the girls are so in to it normally its just the boys doing football in the gym we have got adam for 10 weeks hopefully we can get this extended cause its great the girls are getting to do things in the gym to keep them fit. The girls who went loved it at the Velodrome they went getting everyone autograph even if they wasn't famous it was so funny watching them the badminton was great the girls loved it blog by JOHNNY BIGGS..

NORTH WEST IN BLOOM 2009..


This is my blog on the Whitemoss Youth Clubs Success in this years North Manchester in Bloom Awards 2009 we was awarded for our BOAT that we renovated which was an old boat from Heaton Park Lake we got it with the help from charlie/sol dragged it off the Ireland, after that/wayne/and john biggs cleaned it out after leafs and all sorts were in it over 25 years of rotting. We got it back to the club and with the help from North Manchester Boys School lads from year 7 helped renovate it so we could plant the boat out it took 8 bags of soil to fill the boat up plus the lads helped with our Sensory garden doing it all up for the judges coming around well done to everyone who helped Big Shout out to wayne and John Biggs with there help with the Boat... thur 4th feb 2010

SENSORY GARDEN/ /RENAVATED BOAT







This is my blog on the award that Whitemoss Youth Club got after the hard work by the club in renervating an old moter boat from heaton park the boat was 25 years old the boys school year 7 Youngsters helped with the boat and now its a great feature in our Sensory Garden it took over 8big bags of soil and we now have planted it all out looks great well done everyone who helped with the boat and making sensory garden look great blog by JOHNNY BIGGS
