CRIMINAL WHAT THEY HAVE DESTROYED

The Destroying of the Whitemoss Youth & Community Centre, on Southdown Crescent, M9 7DQ
by the New Trustees! Manchester Youth Federation
It’s alright investing money by the Trustees from the above, but they also should be made accountable for the tens of thousands they have wasted, in taking away the Allotment, Climbing House and slide that the children loved to play on, the recent swing which the children also loved to play on and was well supervised at all times. Our Sensory Garden which we developed for our special needs children and adults, also the sensory room all these taken away from the community.
This is what had been invested by so many, by the Lottery, Children in Need, Companies, such as Asda, Tesco & the Co-op, Green Spaces in the development of our water fall (only 3 foot deep) and many others things, we the volunteers had invested in over the last ten decades and more recently as the pictures below will show you.
It’s absolutely scandalous; that Labour Councillors and others have allowed this to happen and somebody should be made accountable in taking away, what we with the public money had invested into the centre, on our behalf.
I John Biggs had recently negotiated a new 25 year lease with the Council, to enhance our chances to generate more money for Whitemoss, which now has all been taken away from us and handed on a plate, to the Manchester Youth Federation. Money doesn’t buy the love and affection all our members, families, friends and the teams of ardent volunteers had, who have invested into the community of North Manchester for 60 years or more. Thanks to Johnny who kept the walking netball going every Friday morning while setting up for the juniors and to all the ladies who ran the TUCK SHOP. NOW GONE! Thank you to All the Volunteers Young and Older who kept the club going.
Look at the pictures below which give you an insight of what we had and NOW, have been destroyed by the Trustees of the Manchester Youth Federation.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Criminal what they have done.

Whitemoss Club for Young People has ended our name finishes on 31/Sep/2023.

The end of an era at whitemoss!

It is with very heavy hearts that we have to inform you all that as from early September we can no longer run whitemoss club for young people.Greater Manchester youth federation had previously promised to us funding for one full time member of staff (johnny) and a part time member (kath)so that we could continue the good work and keeping 7-11 year olds off the streets and in a safe environment in which they can play and socialise. The club cannot continue with no full time employees. Because of this John and Johnny have had to step down
And the charity that was called Whitemoss is being disbanded.
We want to thank you all for your support over the last 60 years. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/.../playing... link is funding that was earmarked for Whitemoss Youth Club and Community Centre on here now will only history pics on here ❤️❤️
