This is my blog on Whitemoss Youth Clubs Senior Club of what goes on there ive edited a video together of what goes on on Tuesday/Thursday nights the music ive put in the slide show is sung by two Senior Girls from the club who recorded Hero in the MUSIC STUDIO with Tyler Daley aka HoodMan who's doing great job in the Music Studio which we won funding from Young Persons Opportunity's Funding. This is my blog this is a compation that Northwards Housing organised for local people to make there own Super Pig to draw and design a pig to protect our streets so we got the kids doing the competition and our juniors won the compatition there art work is at the top of my blog so first prize for WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB was a Play Station 3 which northwards housing came last monday to present the Play Station 3 to the kids and the PIG hid in our studio room and as the kids were setting up for the picture for the housing and then he came out and surprised the kids and they all run up to the pig and hugged him so well done to all the kids who entered great job for the YOUTH CLUB ABIG THANKYOU TO NORTHWARDS HOUSING the Play Station 3 which the kids love it BLOG DONE BY JOHNNY BIGGS...

This is my blog about our Halloween party at Whitemoss Youth Club i was late from work so it was a rush getting in anyway the kids turned up in there fancy dress they all looked really SCAREY. Thanks to the parents who brought in food and drinks for the buffett the kids really enjoyed musical chairs and at the end bobbing for apples great to see them having so much fun well done to all the staff for making it great night. Then we anounced the winner of scarest dressed, the winner of the boys was kylie and the winner for the girls was jazmin well done everyone who dressed up also we had a coulouring in compation and there was 1st/2nd/3rd prize on offer the three winners are shown above this blog well done everybody who entered. This is my blog about LEONARD BROOKES Bungee Jump at the Charlestown Pub in Blackley on 18/oct/2009 there was good number of people there was having a pint in the pub then the Bungee craine turned up i thought no way would i have the bottle to do that so how len well feel when he see's it lol, Well len was queueing getting ready for his jump he looked well nervse never seen him like that. Well he started to go up in the small box he gave everyone a wave, then he got to the the MOON lol he jumped off he came down waving his arms every were what a jump full credit to him what bottle it must of taken to do it he Raised 130,00pounds. This is my blog about Young Group started because of our new Music Studio the Group is called ROYAL FLUSH song is Four Black Teens and Band Members of our Youth Club are Kaylam/Emerson/Kade/Anerei/who have been working with the Youth Clubs Music Studio's Tuter Tyler Daley who's doing a fantastic job in the Clubs Studio which is keeping Teens off the Streets giving them Posative things to do in the area a BIG THANKYOU TO THE YOUNG PERSONS OPPERTUNITYS FUNDING. This is a blog just to say what and who,s in the video its an interview that Kaylum one of the Youth Club Members who went on North Manchester Radio with John Biggs Whitemoss youth club,s Club Leader they both went on to talk about the Youth Club and Kaylum went on to give Young persons ideas of the club and kaylum talking how the Music Studio and Tyler Daley/Kurt Daniels have encouraged them to start a group.Which is called ROYAL FLUSH and the song that's in the video is called FOUR BLACK TEENS in the Group are KADE/EMMERSON/TROY/KAYLUM/ANDRIE. Hopefully this will inspire other TEENS and keep them off the streets which is the main thing and that youngsters can show there talents rather than having no hope wondering the streets with nothing to do and bored teenagers with out nothing to do. Everybody at WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB would like to give a big shout out to the Young Persons Oppurtunity,s Funding who Funded the studio £11,000 which is reaching teens that wasn't interested in the Youth Club before. this is short blog of the summer fun day we had loads of thing on kids organised a dancing compatition which was great succsess with Jazmin/Charlie did great dance routine which was great succsess well done everybody who was involved great thanks to margret who lives opisite the youth club who did the hanging baskets for people to make small donation to the club and they got great hanging basket we raised 400,00 pounds for the WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB. Abig thank you to counsil who donated the Hanging Baskets/Soil/Plants,Plus zest who donated the Hotpot for everybody thanks to all our volunteers who were involved in making the event great succsess.Without our Volunteers the club would not function.BLOG BY JOHNNY BIGGS...

This is my blog for a great award that my dad got it was about 2002 when he was given THE MANCUNIAN OF THE YEAR which was great hounor which in the past people like BOBBY CHARLTON/ LS LOWRY have been awarded this trophy john has done 40 years Voluntry Youth Work since day one of the club opening ive done 14 years Voluntry Youth Work and its fantastic there at Whitemoss Youth Club. this is my blog this was two americans quintin and paige they was brought over by our boys youth club federation to see how our youth clubs compared with theres in the U.S they was given grand tour of differant youth clubs and they came to whitemoss youth club and john biggs shown them around they was very impressed with our club then john took them down to see boggartt hole clough around the lake they liked it but pointed out that it could do with good clean out which i agree with apart from that they loved it then andy hammell came and picked them up we got a picture of the special needs club who were using the club.Hopefully it will go in the next edition of the federations booklet thanks for your visit QUINTIN PAIGE. This is my blog on us clubbing together to get my dad a gold plate for the 40th anniversary which in the day was at the club and the night celabrations was at the Charlestown pub there was over 100 people there to celabrate 40 years of the club being born it was great night and this gold plate was given to John Biggs who without his hard work in keeping this club open after the big fire we had and for 40 years of dedication of voluntry youth work keeping thouseds of youths off the streets thanks to all the volunteers over the years which with out them we wouldnt be open too BLOG BY JOHNNY BIGGS

BOAT FROM HEATON PARK PROJECT.2009

This is my blog of were/how we got an old peddalow boats off one of the ireland it was a saturday morning really hot wheather me wayne and dad/john biggs. Charlie who runs the boats at heaton park he rowed us over we only took over a spade and a plastic bag we thought there would just be leafs and bit water in the boat but when we looked it was full to the top with water and leafs so wayne started off with the spade and he nearley collapsed because of the smell the boats been there for 20/30 years. We wasnt getting far so Charlie came back over with a big bowl it was alot easier to empty.then we lifed the boat over and left the ireland then a week later sol from the clough lake put the boat on a moter boat and put it on to a truck and brought it to the youth club and then i got lym scale remover and cleanded up the boat then had to drill holes in the bottom of it so got room to breath when the soil got put in then the boys school came up with 16 volunteers to help paint the boat and soil it out and then put plants/flowers in the boat plus the boys from year 7 helped all week in weeding and doing hanging baskets plus the teachers/ethon put two gaziboes up looks geat job well done to every one involved blog by Johnny Biggs on 25/june 2009. This is my blog on WHITEMOSS YOUTH CLUB,S.FUNDAY it was a big succsess we rasied 350.00pounds. Abig thank you to everyone who help with setting everything up. Plus PHIL the painter for getting the gym ready for the day he did fantastic job. Plus thanks to Wyane Carter myself and John Biggs/Graeme Bates who helped with the painting of the gym. thank to the girls from The BANK OF NEWYORK MELLON IN MANCHESTER For baking the cakes that ruth sold making 40pounds for the youth club. Thanks to the girls who rasied 100.00pounds at the coffee bar.Also we had the Opening of our new Music Studio which has taken alot of hard work to get it open for funday.Big thank you to Young Peoples opertunities Funding for 11.000 pounds for our Studio. This is my Blog of Whitemoss Youth Clubs new Music Studio. This has been hard work to clear the old Arts and Craft room to get it all ready for our New Music Studio that EVERYBODY has worked very hard to pull together the application form with help from Michael Jacques/Tyler Daley/Kurt Daniels. They will be running the Studio for the CLUB. This will be great for our Children & Young People which will be free for Junior/Senior Members of Whitemoss Youth Club. Our Grand opening is on the 9th.May on the day we have our FUNDAY. when there will be loads going on everybody welcome Young,Old and older/ Anyone who want to use the Music Studio for recording D.J.ing and any M.C,ing etc. Phone the contact No. below.
